Refrigerator Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pickle juice (sweet or dill or combination)
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1 carrot, grated
    1 green pepper, chopped fine
Preparation
    Combine the first 5 ingredients and cook until sugar is dissolved.
    Cool.
    Cover the prepared vegetables with cooled brine.
    Store in covered dish in refrigerator overnight before serving.
    Drain portions as served.
    Will keep several days.
