Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. oil or butter
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
flour
Preparation

Mix sugar and egg yolks.
Then mix cream, soda and baking powder.
Combine both mixtures.
Add milk, oil or butter and egg whites, beaten stiff.
Add enough flour to stiffen and cut.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly tanned.
Makes 8 dozen.
