Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup red food coloring
    3 tsp. Nestle's Nesquik Chocolate
    1/2 cup Crisco
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 cups cake flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 cup buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix food coloring and chocolate to make a paste.
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Mix.
    Add paste mixture.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add
    buttermilk and vanilla.
    Mix real good.
    Bake 350 degrees 25 - 30 minutes or until done.
    Use three 8 inch pans.
