Homesteaders' Rabbit Or Squirrel With Cream Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 rabbit or 2 squirrels, cut up
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3/4 c. rabbit stock or chicken broth
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 small bay leaf
1/2 c. half and half
Preparation

In large plastic food storage bag, combine flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Shake to mix.
Add rabbit pieces; shake to coat. Reserve excess flour mixture.
