Barbara Mandrell'S Pig Picking Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. butter flavor cake with pudding mix
1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
1 small can mandarin oranges with juice
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Grease two 9-inch layer pans; line bottom with waxed paper and grease again and set aside.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using oil, eggs and juice drained from oranges.
Stir in oranges and nuts.
Spread evenly in prepared pans.
Bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until done.
Cool pans on racks 10 minutes.
Remove cakes from pans; peel off wax paper and continue to cool on racks.
Place one layer on a serving plate and spread with 1/3 of the frosting.
Add second layer and frost top and sides of cake.
Makes 12 servings.
