Crustless Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts (preferably pecans)
Preparation
    Adding ingredients in the order given is important.
    Put cranberries in a deep 10-inch greased pie plate.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over the berries.
    Spread nuts on top.
    Beat eggs.
    Add 1 cup of sugar and beat.
    Add flour and beat very well.
    Add butter and shortening.
    Beat well again.
    Pour over cranberries in pie plate.
    Preheat oven for 1 hour.
    Bake at 325\u00b0.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
