Shrimp Fra Diavalo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium chopped onion
    2 medium minced garlic cloves
    28 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
    4 oz. can mushroom pieces and stems, drained
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 lb. cooked shrimp
Preparation
    Lightly saute the olive oil, onion and garlic cloves.
    Add tomatoes, mushroom pieces and stems, sugar, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper and water.
    Add cooked shrimp and warm thoroughly. Serve over linguini.
