Jimmie'S Favorite Cabbage Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 heads cabbage, chopped
2 1/2 qt. onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. canning salt
1/2 gal. red apple cider vinegar
5 lb. sugar
hot green peppers, chopped
red peppers, chopped
Preparation

Use a large dishpan to chop cabbage in.
Bring vinegar, sugar and salt to boil in large pan.
Add peppers, cabbage and onion. Bring back to boil for about 5 minutes.
Have about 8 to 10 quart jars and lids hot and ready to fill.
