Mexican Panocha - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 oz. unsweetened grated chocolate
    3 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine chocolate, brown sugar and evaporated milk.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add butter and stir occasionally until candy reaches soft ball stage (238\u00b0).
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and nuts, mixing until candy begins to harden.
    Turn into a buttered 9-inch square pan.
    Cut into 2 dozen squares.
