Fresh Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. oleo
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 c. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan.
Stir
until smooth, then cook over medium heat until thickened and smooth.
Stir constantly.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook until heated.
Serve over cake or nut bread.
Yield:
about 1 2/3 cups.
