Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. popcorn
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. peanuts (optional)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Pop the corn to make about 12 cups.
    Place in a large bowl; remove imperfect kernels and sprinkle with salt.
    Place butter, molasses and sugar in a saucepan and stir over low heat only long enough for sugar to dissolve.
    Simmer until syrup cracks against side of glass when tested in cold water.
    Pour over corn.
    Add peanuts, if desired, and form into balls with fingers.
