One-Step Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    12 oz. carton creamed cottage cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    9 pieces lasagne, uncooked
    12 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese (or 3 c. shredded)
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large skillet, brown ground beef, drain.
    Stir in spaghetti sauce, water, basil, and oregano. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    In small bowl, combine cottage cheese and egg.
    In ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan, layer 1/3 of noodles, 1/3 of meat sauce, 1/3 of cottage cheese mixture and 1/3 of Mozzarella cheese; repeat layers ending with Mozzarella on top.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Cover with foil; bake for 30 minutes.
    Remove foil; bake an additional 25 to 30 minutes.
    Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
    Makes 8 servings.
