Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening or butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. applesauce
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. ground nuts
1 large pkg. milk chocolate chips

Preparation

Cream sugar, shortening or butter until smooth.
Add eggs, vanilla and applesauce.
Add flour, soda, salt and cocoa; mix well.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and floured.
