Coconut Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with dash of salt and the vanilla until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff.
    Fold in coconut.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in a slow oven (325\u00b0) about 20 minutes.
    Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
