Banana Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 bananas
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mash bananas; add milk, sugar, butter and egg yolks.
    Cook in double boiler, stirring frequently until thick.
    Pour into cooked, cooled pie crust.
    Make meringue of the egg whites using 3 tablespoons extra sugar.
    Bake in medium oven 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
