Bell Pepper Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 c. Minute rice
2 or 3 bell peppers
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 onion, chopped
Preparation

Brown ground beef and seasonings.
Pour off grease.
Boil bell peppers in saucepan 2 or 3 minutes.
Cool and then slice.
In medium casserole dish, butter bottom.
Arrange bell pepper slices on bottom.
Add on top of sliced bell peppers the Minute rice, onion and ground beef.
Then add tomato sauce.
Stir a little (but not the peppers).
Top with grated cheese and bake until bubbly and hot at 350\u00b0.
Serve with green salad and slim, sliced (not buttered) French bread.
