Candied Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red Delicious or Limbertwig apples
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 scant c. water
    cinnamon
    1 bottle red food coloring
Preparation
    Peel and core apples.
    Place in deep frying pan.
    Mix sugar, water and food coloring and pour over apples. Bring to boil and then reduce heat.
    Cook until tender.
    Sprinkle cinnamon on top before serving.
