Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. cornmeal
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs until well blended.
Add vanilla, vinegar and meal.
Pour in unbaked pie shell.
Cook in 300\u00b0 oven 35 minutes.
One-half cup of coconut may be added if desired or 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring.
Makes 2 pies.
