Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. crushed pineapple
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add and cream well brown sugar and white sugar.
Beat in 1 egg and then another.
Add pineapple (undrained).
Sift together and add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add chopped nuts.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
