Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. cold water
    1/4 tsp. lemon extract
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Combine egg whites, sugar, tartar, cold water and lemon extract in the top of a double
    boiler;
    beat 1 minute.
    Set top of double boiler over boiling water.
    Cook
    for 7 minutes, beating constantly at high speed
    until
    stiff
    peaks
    form. Remove
    from heat and fold in
    coconut.
    Frost
    your
    favorite cake.
