Sweet Little Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients, mixing well.
    Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add buttermilk, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Shape dough into a ball and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
    Cut with a 1 3/4-inch biscuit cutter and place on ungreased baking sheet. Brush lightly with milk.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. Yields 3 dozen.
