Herbed Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. chervil
    1 Tbsp. fresh snipped parsley
    2 tsp. fresh chives or 1 tsp. dried
    1/8 tsp. savory
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. sunflower seeds (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook beans in 2 cups boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes, covered, until tender-crisp.
    Combine herbs in a small bowl.
    Saute chopped onions and garlic in oil, adding herbs, then sunflower seeds.
    Add to cooked beans.
    Season to taste and toss lightly. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
