Toffee Diamonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (1/2 lb.) butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolk.
    Sift flour and cinnamon; add to butter mixture.
    Spread dough evenly over greased 10 x 15-inch pan (a pizza roller smooths dough quickly).
