Stuffed Grouse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 grouse
    2 sour apples
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. currants
    3 slices wheat bread
    1/2 c. pinyon nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    butter
Preparation
    Shell nuts.
    Peel and dice apples.
    Simmer apples until soft. Mix together apples, currants, nuts, salt, pepper and crumbled bread.
    Stuff birds.
    Brush with butter and wrap in foil or cook in cooking bags.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
