Super Supper Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 medium onion
    1 qt. mashed potatoes
    salt
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Shape hamburger into small meat balls.
    Sprinkle with salt and brown in frying pan; drain off excess fat.
    Add sliced onion and brown slightly.
    Add mushroom soup, combined with water.
    Cover; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until meat balls are done.
    When ready to serve, cover with mashed potatoes (instant potatoes may be used, prepared according to instructions); spread with a little butter or margarine and brown under broiler.
