Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    pinch of salt
    ??? Tbsp. Karo
    1 c. pecans
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a saucepan cook sugar, milk, salt and Karo until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cook to the soft ball stage, testing in cold water.
    Add butter and vanilla and beat until thick.
    Add chopped pecans.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
