Snow-Top Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 beaten eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    2/3 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Place chocolate and shortening in small saucepan and cook and stir over low heat until melted.
    Cool 15 minutes.
    Combine eggs, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and salt in a large bowl.
    Add chocolate mixture.
    Gradually add the flour, stirring until thoroughly combined.
    Cover and chill for 2 hours or until easy to handle.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in powdered sugar to coat generously.
    Place 2-inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven about 10 minutes or until edges are just set.
    Transfer to rack to cool.
    Makes 60 cookies.
