Winter Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 gal. cabbage, slawed
    1/2 gal. red and green peppers, chopped
    6 bunches celery, chopped
    4 tsp. ground mustard
    1 box celery seed
    10 lb. sugar
    1 gal. vinegar (add a little water if too strong)
Preparation
    Mix vegetables together in crock.
    Mix vinegar, sugar, mustard and celery seed together; pour over vegetables.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Cover lightly.
    (Do not put on weight.)
    Will keep in a cool place a long time.
