24 Hour Slaw(Serves 20 People) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    2 large onions, sliced thinly
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Alternate layers of cabbage and onion with onions on top. Combine sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard and pepper in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Oil should be added last after saucepan is removed from stove.
    Drip hot mixture over cabbage. Do not stir.
    Leave in refrigerator for 24 hours before serving.
