Wonderful Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    2 sticks margarine
    5 large eggs
    2/3 c. canned evaporated milk
    1/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butternut flavoring
Preparation
    Cream salt, sugar, shortening and margarine.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
    Add flour, milk and water a little at a time.
    Mix well, then mix in flavoring.
    Pour in greased and floured tube cake pan.
    Place cake in cold oven.
    Turn oven temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake cake for 1 1/2 hours.
    Do not open door until done!
