Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vinegar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening, eggs until fluffy. In another bowl, add nutmeg, salt, flour; stir baking soda and vinegar into milk. Then add to dry ingredients with creamed mixture, stirring briskly until well mixed, add vanilla. Drop by teaspoonful on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0
    for 10 minutes. Sprinkle top with red or green colored sugar to decorate.
