Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

4 medium green peppers
1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 c. cooked rice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 slices mild process or Swiss cheese, cut in strips
Preparation

Remove tops and seeds from peppers; cut in half.
In skillet, brown beef and cook onion until tender.
Stir in 1 cup soup, rice and seasonings.
Spoon meat mixture into peppers.
Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Dilute remaining soup and pour over peppers. Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until peppers are done. Remove cover and top with cheese strips.
Bake about 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
