Mom'S Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. fruit (peaches, berries, etc.)
Preparation
    Cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish with fruit and pour batter over it.
    Sweeten fresh fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Good warm or cold.
