Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. lean ground pork
1/2 c. finely ground rusk crumbs
1/2 c. cream (half and half), heated to a boil
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. allspice
4 Tbsp. fat
1 1/2 Tbsp. onion, finely minced
Preparation

Soak crumbs in hot cream.
Mix ground meat, soaked crumbs, egg yolks, seasonings and onions.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll in flour.
Brown in hot fat, turning to brown evenly.
Place meatballs in casserole dish with 1 or 2 tablespoons drippings and 1 tablespoon water.
Cover and bake 60 minutes in 300\u00b0 oven.
