Mint Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. margarine and Crisco (half of each total 1/3 c.)
    1/3 c. light Karo
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. confectioners sugar, sifted
    coloring and flavoring (peppermint, etc.)
Preparation
    Melt margarine
    and Crisco over hot water and stir all ingredients together.
    Knead until smooth.
    If entire recipe is to be one color and flavor, both can be added along with other ingredients.
    If not, divide to your desire.
    Roll into ball size of pea or little larger.
    Flatten to desired size.
