Easy Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    6 oz. (3 c.) medium noodles, cooked and drained
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. ripe olives (optional)
Preparation
    Cook meat and onion in a large skillet until onion is tender. Stir in noodles, tomato paste, tomatoes, 1 cup shredded cheese, seasonings and olives.
    Turn into 2-quart casserole dish.
    Top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until hot.
    Serves 6.
