Ingredients

1 1/2 c sugar
4 tbsp cornstarch
2 c buttermilk
1/4 c butter
2 lightly beaten egg yolks
2 tsp lemon extract
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch, then add buttermilk, butter, egg yolks and lemon extract. Mix well and cook over low heat, stirring till butter melts and mixture is slightly thickened. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees till golden brown.
