Gingerbread(Heart Healthy) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. safflower oil
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 c. boiling water
2 c. all-purpose sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Using low speed of electric mixer, blend molasses, brown sugar, oil and spices.
Add boiling water.
Blend.
Gradually add flour.
Beat 2 minutes until smooth. Dissolve baking soda in 2 tablespoons hot water. Add to batter.
Blend.
Pour into an 8-inch sprayed or Teflon lined pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream substitute.
