Jiffy Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Grease loaf pan or cake pan.
    Blend flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda; set aside.
    Melt butter in boiling water.
    Blend in orange rind, orange juice, sugar, vanilla and egg.
    Add dry ingredients; add nuts.
    Stir just until all is blended well. Batter will be lumpy.
    Pour in pan.
    Put walnut halves on top of batter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
