Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. lukewarm milk (not hot)
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lukewarm mashed potatoes
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Put in a mixing bowl first 2 ingredients.
    Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in next 5 ingredients.
    Beat thoroughly.
    Cover; let rise until light.
    Add 2 cups flour.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Cover and again let rise to about double in size.
    Turn onto a floured board.
    Pat and roll 1/4-inch thick.
    Shape in any shape desired.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 20 minutes according to size of the biscuits.
    Makes about 18.
