Cocktail Franks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. fresh lemon or lime juice
    1 c. catsup
    1/3 c. Heinz 57 sauce
    1/3 c. chopped celery
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    cooked hot dog pieces
    1/3 c. white wine (optional)
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, mix all ingredients.
    Bring to a slow boil.
    Add sliced, cooked hot dog pieces and reduce heat to low. Simmer about 5 minutes.
