Karo Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo all-purpose syrup
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 c. pecans (halves or chopped)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients for filling together, adding pecans last. Pour
    into
    9-inch
    unbaked pastry shell.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 to
    35 minutes
    longer.
    When
    pie
    is
    done,
    outer edges of filling should be set, center slightly soft.
