Lemon Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/8 tsp. butter flavoring
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring extract
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Cream together the shortening, sugar and butter flavoring.
    Add egg, vanilla and lemon flavoring; beat thoroughly.
    Sift together the dry ingredients; add alternately to creamed mixture.
    Mix thoroughly.
    This is a rather soft dough.
    Drop by scant teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.
