Hot Spiced Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can peach halves
    1 (16 oz.) can pear halves
    1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    juice of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. combined fruit syrup (not cherry)
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Drain fruits, reserving 3/4 cup syrup.
    Arrange fruit in 2-quart casserole.
    Pour lemon juice over top.
    Combine fruit syrup, sugar and spices.
    Pour over fruits.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serve warm.
    If desired, whipped topping may be used.
    Serves 8 to 10.
