Old Fashioned Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 sticks margarine or butter (1 c. plus 4 Tbsp.)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. frozen coconut
Preparation
    Defrost coconut.
    Eggs and butter should be at room temperature.
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Spray pan with oil spray. Cream the butter and sugar together well. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Add flour, salt, soda, sour cream and vanilla. Blend.
    Stir in coconut.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
