Smothered Venison - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. venison steaks
    2 cans stewed tomatoes with juice
    1 small onion
    cooked rice (for 4)
Preparation
    Brown sliced steaks in skillet.
    Saute small onion.
    Add venison, tomatoes and onion to crock-pot.
    Cook on low heat until meat falls into small pieces (bite-size).
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve over rice with garlic toast or bread.
