Microwave Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak (1/2-inch thick), tenderized or pounded with meat mallet
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 medium onion, sliced thin
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
Preparation

Cut meat in 6 pieces, then coat with mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
Place in a 3-quart casserole.
Cover with onion. Break up tomatoes with fork and pour over top.
Cover.
Microwave at medium power level for 60 to 70 minutes, rearranging meat after 30 minutes, until tender.
Makes 6 servings.
