New England Dinner(Stove Top) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. corned beef
    1 head cabbage, cut into eighths
    8 potatoes, peeled and halved
    8 carrots, peeled and halved
Preparation
    Cover meat with cold water.
    Simmer 3 hours, adding the potatoes, carrots and cabbage the last hour.
    Drain and serve. Serves 8 to 10.
