Ingredients

1 can beets, drained
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vinegar
dash of allspice
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Drain beet juice; add sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and allspice. Cook until thick.
Add butter; pour over beets.
Let set 30 minutes before serving.
Heat again.
