Stack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sorghum
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add sorghum and eggs, beating after each addition. Sift flour and other dry ingredients together. Add flour and milk alternately to batter. Roll out on a flour-covered surface. (Makes 10 to 12 layers.) Bake in iron skillets at 350\u00b0.
